Ahhhhh....the rainy day. It conjures up thoughts of relaxing with a good movie/book, taking a nap, or just baking up a storm in the kitchen. But, not today.
With bees arriving next weekend, I am already behind in preparing for their arrival. So today, I gathered up forced family labor, I mean loving family members to help me.
This pile of wood was transformed into....
two lovely beehives and....
many, many frames with beeswax foundation.
My little friends stayed with me the whole time.
Even finding a tarp and an old blanket to cuddle up with.
She's a keeper.
