My hubby is a Civil War buff. So, when I learned that St. Albans, Vermont held an annual festival to celebrate the Raid on St. Albans, I knew it would be the perfect way for him to celebrate his birthday. We spent Sunday in St. Albans, walking around the city park which was set up like a war camp, watching a re-enactment of the St. Albans Raid, taking a walking tour and touring the city's museum.
