Good Evening everyone..
Another beautiful warm day here in St. Martins.. There is a lovely breeze off the bay..Inland though it has been a hot couple of days...
The cottage is old and surrounded by big trees so that it generally stays cool.. Last year though we had some very hot nights.. The first in the fifteen summers that we have been here.. I hope we don't have too many of those but whatever .... It will be cooler here than home anyway..
I am posting some pics of the dear old bathroom here at the cottage...
I love this little room.. As you will see it is not decorated in my favorite prim style.. Last Friday when I posted about the old kitchen here I said that this house has a mind of it's own when it comes to decorating... smile.. It will not let me redo the bathroom in a prim style... not yet anyway... grin... I know I am being silly..
Anyway.. I hope you enjoy the pics..
As you will see it could well use a makeover but that is not likely to happen in the near future... Although, Terry does need to fix the floor covering by the door to our grandson's clubhouse...

This is what they used to call a walkthrough room..
The bedroom before this is also a walkthrough...
It leads into what used to be the maid's bedroom .. It has a set of stairs which go down to the kitchen.. That way she could get up early and make the fire and start breakfast..
But now  that little door over there leads to our grandson's clubhouse  which they have named THE COUSIN'S CLUBHOUSE..
They leave notes and things for each other.. If Shonda's boys are here they run right up to see if Trevor's boys left them any messages or perhaps a puzzle that they try to figure out and vice versa...
I went in today and saw a note left by Trevor's 3 boys who were here last and left it for their cousins..
I can't tell you what it said but it made this old grandma smile ..  Those dear boys...

Anyway..
I can't seem to leave a posting without trying to give you something creative ..
So here is a fun summer recipe that is so easy and good..
I do not have a pic of it as Terry is away and I did not want to light up the BBQ just for me..
You will have to take my word for it that these are a simple ooey-gooey dessert..

BANANA CHOCO TACOS..
6   8-9-inch flour tortillas
2 T. soft butter
2 t. cinnamon sugar
2 large bananas sliced
1 cup semi sweet chocolate pieces
2 cups tiny marshmellows
Pile tortillas in a stack and wrap in tin foil.. Grill directly over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until they are warm and pliable..Turn packet once..
Place these on a work surface and brush the butter on one side of each tortilla and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar..
Top HALF of the buttered side with some of the banana slices, chocolate pieces and marshmellows..Fold the other half over the filled half pressing lightly.
Use a spatula to place each taco over the grill rack and grill for 2  to 3 minutes until lightly browned and the filling starts to melt.. Flip over halfway through the cooking time with the spatula..
If desired.. fold each taco in half again and serve in parchment paper or a napkin..(or flip it on a paper plate and tell them to have fun... grin...)
Makes 6 servings..
Now send the kids up for a bath or a dip in the sea.. smile..
These are messy but soooo good .. Your kids will love them and so will hubby... smile..
Thank you sweet ladies for stopping in for another visit..
I enjoy this.. You girls are so sweet..
I love hearing from you..
Have a blessed evening in your part of the world ...
And God is still  faithful..
