They lost with 65% of the Hispanic vote in 2016.

ITEM 2: The Associated Press reported, "China’s commerce ministry says it will take all necessary measures in response to new U.S. restrictions on Chinese tech giant Huawei’s ability to use American technology, calling the measures an abuse of state power and a violation of market principles.
"An unidentified spokesperson quoted Sunday in a statement on the ministry’s website said the regulations also threatened the security of the global industrial and supply chain.
"'The U.S. uses state power, under the so-called excuse of national security, and abuses export control measures to continuously oppress and contain specific enterprises of other countries,' the statement said.
"China will 'take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises,' it said.
"Under the new rules, foreign semiconductor makers who use American technology must obtain a U.S. license to ship Huawei-designed semiconductors to the Chinese company."
President Trump is treating Red China the way he treats the press.
He hits back twice as hard and twice as often.
ITEM 3: Bloomberg News reported, "40% of Americans said they won’t buy products from China, according to a survey of 1,012 adults conducted May 12-14 by Washington-based FTI Consulting, a business advisory firm. That compares with 22% who say they won’t buy from India, 17% who refuse to purchase from Mexico and 12% who boycott goods from Europe.

"55% don’t think China can be trusted to follow through on its trade-deal commitments signed in January to buy more U.S. products.
"78% percent said they’d be willing to pay more for products if the company that made them moved manufacturing out of China.
"66% said they favor raising import restrictions over the pursuit of free-trade deals as a better way to boost the U.S. economy."
The biggest side effect of covid-19 is the realization that we were had when Presidents Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama promoted trade with Red China.

"The press release, which did not mention the corona virus pandemic in any way, called the 100-day mark a significant date in the convention planning process following over a year of hard work, preparation and organization."
If North Carolina's Democrat governor does not like it, move it to Georgia.

ITEM 7: The Sun-Sentinel reported, "A sheriff’s sergeant who was fired for sitting in his car and failing to react while a gunman slaughtered students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School should get his job back, as well as any lost wages, an arbitrator ruled.
"Brian Miller was fired June 4. The union learned Wednesday that arbitrator concluded that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office violated Miller’s due process rights when Sheriff Gregory Tony terminated him two days past a deadline that a state law allows for punishing law enforcement officers once an investigation is completed.
"Lawyers for the union refuted questions posed that Miller can get his job back because of a technicality — a two-day technicality."
Why is this man not in prison for aiding and abetting murder?

The negotiation should be to ignore her altogether, and drop the whole idea of bailouts.

ITEM 9: The Daily Mail reported, "Meghan Markle thought she was quoting Eleanor Roosevelt in her 1999 high school year book with the feminist declaration: ‘Women are like teabags; they don’t realize how strong they are until they’re in hot water.’
"So the Duchess of Sussex might be upset to discover the quote has been attributed to a right-wing, anti-feminist campaigner.
"The line is actually attributed to Phyllis Schlafly, a Republican who backed Donald Trump before her death in 2016. "
Schlafly was more than a woman who backed Donald Trump.
She was the woman who stopped the Equal Rights Amendment.
ITEM 10: The Daily Mail reported, "Former President Barack Obama on Saturday criticized President Donald Trump in all but name as he gave a televised commencement address for high school seniors.
"Obama's message to graduating high school students came at the end of an hourlong television special. Obama panned 'so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs' who do 'what feels good, what's convenient, what's easy.' 'That's how little kids think,' he added, 'which is why things are so screwed up.'
"The 44th president did not mention Trump by name, but there was no mistaking who he meant."
Obama not only was the worst president, but he is totally without class.
And he is still butt-hurt by that birther nonsense a decade later.
Obama believes he can tag covid-19 on The Donald. Obama believes this not only will win the election but will keep him in the good graces of his Red Chinese overlords.
ITEM 11: The Associated Press reported, "China is going after the United States over more than $1 billion that the Trump administration owes the United Nations in unpaid dues for its regular operating budget and arrears for the separate budget for the U.N.’s far-flung peacekeeping operations.
"The unusual singling out of the U.S. non-payment by China’s U.N. mission comes as President Donald Trump continues to accuse Beijing of not being open about the coronavirus when cases were initially reported in December and early January."
Paragraph 8 said, "The United States funds 25% of the regular U.N. budget, while China pays 12%. Of the 193 member nations, 91 had paid their dues in full as of May 13. China paid $336.78 million for the regular budget on May 1."
That should have been Paragraph 2, but AP thinks it more important to zing the president than report the news properly.

"The American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts said the three women and two young children had been living in dangerous conditions in the Mexican border town of Matamoros.
"The organization said the five people — four from Guatemala and one from El Salvador — were exposed to violence and persecution in Mexico and their immigration hearings in the U.S. have been severely delayed because of the corona virus pandemic."

The ability of liberals to use any district judge anywhere to make a ruling on national policy needs to end. Congress needs to stop it. In the meantime, Chief Justice John Roberts should make it plain that this is unacceptable.

"The same poll, conducted for CNN, found Biden ahead of Trump nationally, but losing in the 15 states that might decide the vote in the Electoral College.
"The poll did not include different surveys of each of the 15 states, but surveyed 583 people across 15 states that were decided by 8 points or fewer in 2016. The margin for the battleground states alone was 5.3 points.
"The 15 states are Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin."

President Trump took 8 of those states (plus 1 of Maine's 4 electors) in 2016. He has reached out for Hillary voters. Democrats have not reached out for his supporters.
